🎯 Budgets
Presentation and configuration of Budgets
The Budgets feature allows you to set up a collaborative budget after users submit proposals.
To configure the Budgets feature, go to the "Features" or "Components" sub-menu depending on the participative space, and click on "Add a feature" in the right corner of the window. Select "Budgets" to access the feature configuration area.Â

You must complete the following fields:Â
- Title: this is the name of the feature. You can choose to keep the name "Budgets" or change it. It will then appear in the features menu with the name configured here.
- Display Rank: This is the order in which this feature will be displayed among those enabled for the process. The display page has the rank 0.Â
- Global parameters :Â
- Projects per page: the maximum number of projects displayed on the same page of the feature.Â
- Total budget: total amount of budget allocated to projects.
- Enable the comment module: allows users to comment on projects in the Budget module.
- Action permissions can be defined for each meeting: (see article on permissions and permissions).
- Enable geolocation: allows to put a map at the user's disposal in order to locate projects in space.Â

- Voting rules :Â select the voting rule you wish to apply to your feature:Â
- Enable "Voting according to a budget": the user must allocate at least a certain percentage of the total budget to the projects he wants to vote for in order to validate his vote. This percentage is to be entered in the next field.Â
- Enable "Voting by number of projects". The user must select a certain number of projects to be able to validate his vote. This number is to be entered in the next field.Â
- Activate "Voting by category": this voting rule can be applied both to voting by budget as well as to voting by number of projects. Enter the number of projects to be selected per category in the following fields.Â
- Default settingsaut :
- Block the creation of new comments: Check this box if you do not want users to post comments.Â
- Enabled Voting: Allows users to vote for projects at the selected stage.Â
- Show Votes: Shows the number of votes assigned to a project.Â

Finally, press "Add Feature".Â
Create budget projects
Once the Budgets feature is configured, projects that will be voted on must be created. Go to the sub-menu of your participative space, to the "Features" or "Components" tab and click on the newly created Budgets feature.Â

If you wish, you can import proposals from the same participatory space by clicking on "Import proposals into projects". To create a new project, click on "New project". The window for creating a new project allows you to edit various fields:Â
- The title of the project
- Project description
- The budget needed to carry out the project
- The scope of application of the project (if the scope of application has been activated on the participatory space)
- The category in which the project is included
- Proposals related to the project

- View the project ("Eye" icon)
- Modify the project ("Pencil" icon)
- Associating a folder of attachments to your project ("Folder" icon)
- Associate an attachment to your project ("Related documents" icon)
- Manage authorizations ("Authorizations" icon): Allows you to specify the people who can vote for projects.Â
- Delete the project ("Delete" icon)
