❓Introduction to participatory features
The features are the modules that you can activate on each process. There are nine participatory features on Decidim. You can activate as many as you like (and even several of the same type on a single participatory process). They are all individually configurable.
To configure the features, click on " Features" (for Process) or"Components" (for assembly) in the space sub-menu. To add a feature, click on "Add a feature".
In the image below, a Tracking feature has been added to the Process "A second Process". A list appears showing the features already activated. The icons of each feature allow you to perform the following actions:
- Manage: gives access to the contents of the feature (list of proposals, achievements, etc.).
- Publish/Unpublish: Visibility of the feature on the Process or assembly page.
- Configure: provides access to the general settings of the feature
- Manage permissions: Available on some features (refer to the article"Permissions and checks")
- Delete: Removes the feature of the participatory space
Most features are configured on two levels:
- At the general level: these settings will apply to any stage of the Process.
- By phase: this configuration will only apply when this phase is activated. This is the case for announcement messages. Phase announcements will replace the general announcement when phases are active.
