🏢 Identify areas (e.g. neighbourhoods)
The parameters of the platform then ask to define geographical sectors which will be called as filters for sorting proposals or Dating. The administration interface can be confusing with, on the one hand, sectors that correspond to these geographical perimeters and, on the other hand, application areas that only concern the assemblies. We are looking for better translations to make the distinction more obvious in the future.
On the sector side, you are first asked to define one or more types of sectors by using the singular and plural form of the term. These types can be districts to subdivide consultations on the scale of a commune, cities within a metropolis or a department, services within a company... It is also possible to define a type of place to be listed, such as stadiums or schools to carry out thematic consultations.

When at least one perimeter type has been defined, you can begin to fill in the list of affected areas by specifying :
- Title : The name that will appear in the filter on the platform.
- Code: The unique identifier of the perimeter that will be used in exports and which may be different from the title for practical reasons.
- Sector type: You can attach your sector to one of the types defined above.

By selecting the magnifying glass you can create sub-sectors - in our example the list of stadiums in Paris.

It is at the time of setting up a Process that you'll use the areas you've just identified.
