📜 Participatory texts

Participatory texts:

When you choose to enable participatory texts, this allows users to collectively edit text on the Proposals feature. To enable this option, there can be no pre-existing proposals on the module. Indeed, the participative text corresponds to an entire Proposals feature, and there cannot be several participative texts on the same module.

To create a participatory text, click on "Participatory texts" in the management page of the Proposals module. The text preview window opens.

To import a document, click on "Import Document". The window for adding participative text opens, and allows you to set the text title and description.

Supported formats are Markdown and .odt. By clicking on the corresponding links, you can access a template file to understand how to structure a document before uploading it to your module. By clicking on "Download document", you arrive on the preview page of your collaborative text.

It is essential that all text fields have a parameterized Title. On the right side of the window you can move sections, subsections and articles. The "+" and "-" icons allow you to access or close the text parameterization.

Once you have completed all the fields, you can "Save Draft" to edit the text later or "Publish Document". When the document is published, you can find the different parts of your participatory text on the proposal management area.

On the user space, the participatory text is translated as follows:

Users can then follow and comment on the entire text, broken down into different parts.
