🗯 Debates
The Debates feature allows to conduct free debates initiated by the administrator and/or by citizens through a comment thread. To configure the Debates feature, go to the "Features" or "Components" sub-menu depending on the participative space, and click on "Add a feature" in the right corner of the window. Select "Debates" to access the feature configuration area :Â

You must fill in the following fields:
- Title: this is the title of the feature. You can choose to keep the name "News" or change it. It will then appear in the feature menu with the name configured here.
- Display Rank: This is the order in which this feature will be displayed among those enabled for the process. The display page has the rank 0.Â
- Global settings: you can write an announcement that will be displayed on each page of the feature if necessary, as well as choose whether or not to allow comments to be published.Â
- Default settings: then you can fill in an announcement for each step, and indicate whether you want to prevent users from continuing to comment on the debates. In addition, this is where you can decide whether or not to check "Debate creation by activated users". This allows you to choose whether users of the platform also have the possibility to create their own debates or simply to participate in the official debates.
Finally, click on "Add a feature".
To create a debate of official origin, click on the "Debates" module in the left-hand menu, or on the "Pencil" icon in the features dashboard, then click on "New debate". This will take you to the window for creating an official debate:Â

You must fill in several fields:
- Title of the debate
- The description of the debate: you can add a more precise explanation of your question, or links to documents, videos, etc. that will inform the debate.
- Instructions for participating
- Updated information
- Start and end dates of the debate
- The category in which the debate falls, if need be
You can edit a debate or delete it by clicking on the " " icons.Pencil"and"Delete".Â
